LOH continuing to collect cards that will be used to send out for bithdays, get well, sympathy, etc... for members and imdediate family. Please bring unused cards to the monthly meetings or give them to Len.
LOH continuing to sponsor the collection of items needed for the Junction City Local Animal Shelter. Items that are in need include: towels, blankets, treats, toys, dog bones, raw hide, etc. This is a project that will continue until the end of 2008. Please drop your donations in the box located in the front area of City Cycle Sales. Than you all for supporting this project.
The Ladies of Harley are collecting items to donate to the Bingo Program at the Good Samaritan Nursing Home for Christmas. If you are interested in helping us, please bring items to the November 10th and/or December 8th HOG Chapter Meeting.
Items we are collecting include the following:
Hand Lotion (men or women's)
Body Lotion (men or women's)
Chap Stick
Nail Grooming Kits
Stuffed Animals
Snacks (sugar free and regular) cookies, candy
Socks (men or woman's)
Winter Gloves (men or women's)
Hair Brushes and combs
This list is just a sampling of the things that coulc be donated.

The Ladies Of Harley recently spent time in the City Cycle Sales shop with Service Manager Dean. Dean went over some of the safety features and pointed out things to look for prior to riding your bike.
